Nature of the Website

This is a private reference site with no government authority. It stores no official Taylor County or TDCJ records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, or submit a filing for a visitor.

The site points visitors toward Taylor County jail and release resources, Texas corrections systems, and optional third-party research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Taylor County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It offers no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. You agree not to use information reached here for an FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Decisions to hire, retain, promote, or dismiss a worker.
• Tenant selection or any other housing-screening decision.
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit.
• Any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Outside Websites

Links may lead to Taylor County release records, Sheriff's or TDCJ sites, government portals, legal-aid resources, and independent search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control a destination's content, privacy practices, availability, or data handling. Review its own terms before use.

Service Without Warranties

Texas Law Controls

Texas law governs these terms, including Government Code Chapter 552 for public-information access and Business & Commerce Code Chapter 109 where its covered criminal-record publication practices apply. Any dispute must be filed in a court located within Texas.

Severability of Terms

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected part will be adjusted only to the extent needed to make it enforceable.
